Wellspring for Caregivers’ unique workshops combine yoga practice with time for personal reflection and group sharing as it fulfills its mission to restore the well being of caregivers.


When one’s life is full of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease, a mental illness, cancer, or a child with a disability, taking time for self-care often falls by the wayside. Day to day tasks of caring often become consuming and an individual may have little time to nurture themselves, let alone reflect on his or her life as a whole. Wellspring for Caregivers workshops address the caregiver’s body, mind, and heart. Workshops begin with time for the caregiver to reflect on a specific theme. Caregivers are then invited (but not required) to share their insights with the group. This time is then followed with gentle yoga practice, including restorative poses. Join us as we provide time for you to reflect, reconnect and relax. The program is designed for up to 12 caregivers to allow quality time for group participation and individualized attention.

Private Yoga Sessions

Join Leslie for one or more private yoga sessions. Experience the benefits of individualized attention to your personal abilities and practice goals. Leslie focuses on yoga for women and specializes in yoga for beginners and those desiring a gentle practice. The Iyengar method of yoga uses props to make poses accessible to people with varying levels of strength and flexibility. Compassion and joy are evident in Leslie’s teaching style.

Audio Programming

Follow up on your intention to take care of yourself with “Restoring Well Being- Yoga for Caregivers with Leslie Congleton” This audio program provides you with two private yoga classes (30 minutes each), a photo-illustrated guide, a guided caregiver self-reflection, and soothing musical interludes (separate from yoga poses).
